The mission

The drive behind Brim is based on the Company's mission, namely to achieve responsible, profitable management in accordance with the highest modern standards. This has become more realistic due to the changes that have taken place in the icelandic economic environment during the past few decades. Legistive changes have been more postive towards the requirements of the fishing industry. This is evident in a greater flexibility in access to loans and a healthier separation of the economic and political forces in Iceland.

Brim utilized this change in the business environment and at the same time prioritised its goal to support a sustainable fishery by responsible management. The Company's foundation is built on three cornerstones: Initiative, reliability and respect.
